Every year it requires a bit of planning for Christmas. Where do we celebrate and with whom? Last year I was in Tokyo but usually I spend it in Espoo, where I am from, with my relatives. This year I will do it as well but there was one place that was my dream destination this Christmas.

Dream destination this Christmas
I would have loved to stay in a glass igloo in Lapland (Northern Finland). It would have been great to sleep under the stars and see Northern Lights and enjoy the snow (and managing with the cold with lots of glögi and hot chocolate).
I would of course have wanted to have my family with me as well. Or to go with my boyfriend. To just take it easy, enjoy the beautiful landscape and activities in Lapland.
More reasons why go to Lapland for Christmas? Lapland can be a dream destination for many reasons. To visit the real Santa Claus of course, which is another reason it would have been great to be there for Christmas. Other activities such as husky safari, going on a reindeer-led sleigh ride, going to the sauna, cross-country skiing and aurora hunting are other reasons I would have loved to go there this holiday season.

Of course it is pricy, and would therefore take some time before I could go, but this is definitely on my travel bucket list.
